Industry Quick Start Guide: get set up on CMF

New venue, agent, studio or label on CMF? Here is how to set up your profile, post opportunities and start receiving enquiries from artists and bookers.

Welcome to the Country Music Factory. CMF is where country artists, fans and the industry meet — so whether you run a venue, book acts as an agent, record them in a studio or sign them to a label, a CMF profile puts you in front of the artists and bookers you want to reach. Setting up takes about twenty minutes. Here’s the order we’d do it in.

1. Create your account and first profile

Sign up and choose Industry as your account type, then create your first profile and pick the category that fits — venue, booking agent, studio, label, promoter and more. New profiles start pending approval while our team gives them a quick once-over; you can keep building in the meantime. On CMF Pro you can run up to five profiles from one account, which is handy if you wear a few hats.

Run one profile, or up to five on CMF Pro — each with its own category and page.

2. Complete your profile

From Manage Profile, fill it out so artists and bookers know exactly who you are: add your logo and a cover image, write an about section, set your category and location, and add your website and contact details. CMF Pro profiles also carry a verified badge and a photo and video gallery to show off the space or your work.

A complete, verified profile earns trust the moment an artist lands on it.

The more complete your profile, the more likely an artist or booker is to reach out rather than scroll past.

3. Post opportunities

Head to Opportunities → Post Opportunity to tell the CMF community what you’re looking for — a support act for a headline show, a session player, a festival slot, or acts to sign. Add a title, type and location, and your listing goes live on the Opportunities board where artists can find and apply to it.

Opportunities put your call-out in front of artists actively looking for work.

4. Receive enquiries

When an artist or booker wants to work with you, they contact you through your profile. Enquiries land in your dashboard inbox and your email, so you never miss one — and your Overview keeps a running count of enquiries this month. Reply directly to start the conversation.

5. Get discovered

Once approved, your profile appears in the Industry Hub directory, where artists and bookers browse by category, search by name and filter by what they need. Keeping your profile complete and active helps you stand out. CMF Pro lifts you further with featured placement, a gold-bordered card and the verified badge.

When you’re ready for more: CMF Pro

Everything above works on a free account. Upgrade when you want more reach — industry CMF Pro is £9.99/month or £99/year and unlocks:

  • Up to 5 industry profiles
  • Unlimited opportunities
  • A verified badge and cover image on your profile(s)
  • Photo and video gallery, with unlimited items
  • Featured and homepage placement in the Industry Hub

That’s the essentials: set up your profile, post what you need, and let the artists come to you. Stuck on anything? Every part of your dashboard has a short article here in the Support Centre — and if you’re still stuck, contact our team.
